Suzanne Pelletier, Executive Director
Suzanne Pelletier has been the Executive Director of the Rainforest Foundation US since April 2009. Prior to coming to the Rainforest Foundation, Suzanne was at the National Audubon Society for twelve years where she served as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. Prior to working at Audubon, Suzanne was a consultant for UNICEF in their Evaluation, Policy and Planning unit. Suzanne has an MBA from Columbia Business School, a Master’s of Environmental Studies from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a BA from Fordham University.

Christine Halvorson, Program Director
Christine Halvorson is a Program Director of the Rainforest Foundation US, which she joined in 1999. Prior to that, she was Program Coordinator of Amanaka’a Amazon Network, which held the yearly Amazon Week in New York. She has worked on issues connecting the environment and social justice for the past 20 years, both in the Amazon as well as locally in New York City. She serves on the board of ABC No Rio, a cultural center in the Lower East Side, and has been active in various community-based initiatives. She has a Master’s degree in Anthropology from the New School for Social Research.

Marina Campos, Program Director
Marina Campos is a Program Director of the Rainforest Foundation US, which she joined in 2010. Prior to joining the Rainforest Foundation US, Marina was an independent consultant on capacity building initiatives related to climate change for several environmental organizations in Brazil and the United States. She also served as the State Coordinator on Climate Change for the state of Amazonas in Brazil. Marina has been working in rainforest conservation issues since 1989. She received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from University of São Paulo, Brazil and a Ph.D. in Social Ecology from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
